The Testament of Sherlock Holmes

We've got some new screens of Frogware's upcoming adventure game based on London's famous detective that show off the developer's improved engine.

The graphical prowess of The Testament of Sherlock Holmes still might not be on par with the near photo-realistic visuals of some triple-A titles, but if you're playing an adventure title for the graphics, you're doing it wrong. I rather enjoyed Holmes' last outing in 2010, and the visuals were downright primitive compared to what the developer is working on now.

As for the new adventure, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes puts the detective on the defensive as the prime suspect in a new string of crimes. Like Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes will be a third-person adventure title that requires players to use deductive logic to solve a variety of puzzles. The game will release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this fall. Check out the screens below.
