The Evil Within 2
Bethesda released two new trailers for The Evil Within 2 that provide a more clear picture of where the sequel is taking the story. Keep in mind that there are some big SPOILERS FOR THE EVIL WITHIN in the story trailer at the bottom of the page.
The gameplay trailer shows off some of the new monsters and environments, and they look just as inventive and terrifying as they did in the first game. The shooting doesn't look largely different, but that's certainly not a bad thing.
The more interesting details come in the new story trailer. Once again, there are SPOILERS.
Sebastian needs to work with Mobius and go back into STEM to save his daughter. It appears that Kidman, the star of the first game's DLC, will be playing a larger role this time around. The first game's story got a little bit wild and complicated toward the end, so hopefully the sequel will be a bit more focused and coherent.
The Evil Within 2 releases on Friday the 13th this October. You can watch the announcement trailer and see some new screenshots here.
