The Beginner's Guide

Davey Wreden, one of the minds behind 2013’s weird and funny The Stanley Parable, has announced his next game. The Beginner’s Guide is largely a mystery right now, though Wreden is revealing that it’s a first-person, narrative game.

The title is coming to PC and Mac this Thursday, October 1. We’ve got some screenshots to share. There’s also a teaser website that is just as cryptic as everything else Wreden has shared at this point.

While we suspect this game will be different than The Stanley Parable, you can check out what we thought of that game in our review. If you haven’t played it though, you might not want to dig for spoilers. It’s better experienced than read about.
