The Bard's Tale IV

The Bard's Tale IV Kickstarter campaign was launched just two days ago, and inXile's third crowdfunding effort is on the road to funding. The campaign currently sits at over $935,000 of a $1.25 million dollar goal (which will be matched by inXile once the target is reached).

While the game isn't slated for release until fall 2017 if funded, the first in-engine trailer is available now. InXile is using Unreal Engine 4 to revitalize the franchise, which first came on the scene in 1985.

As a reminder, in-engine footage is not the same gameplay footage. This is a sample of what the title might look like and the world that inXile is trying to create.
