Space Hulk: Deathwing
This isn't the boring kind of librarian with glasses and piles of books. More details for the upcoming Warhammer 40k first-person shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing reveal the Librarian squad leader and the complex tactical interplay between squad members.
Deathwing can be played solo (with computer-controlled teammates) or cooperatively, with an emphasis on teamwork. One player assumes the role of a Librarian, the leader who uses psychic abilities and issues commands to his faithful Terminators. Squads will engage in objective-based missions against overwhelming swarms of aliens. Outnumbered and outgunned, each member of the team will have to smartly coordinate use of their specialized loadouts.
Developer Streum On Studio has also implemented a dynamic A.I. system that seems similar to the Director in Left 4 Dead. Play well, and the alien foes will fight back even harder. If the squad is having a tough time, the A.I. will scale back the difficulty in real-time.
Space Hulk: Deathwing releases in 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more, take a look at February's stylish trailer.
