Soulcalibur V
Namco
Bandai has released the first video and images from its just-announced
fighter. The curtain may not rise on the stage of history until next
year, but you can get a quick peek backstage right now.
I
would like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone reading
this far for the previous paragraph. Hearing the same five voiceovers
about souls still burning and the stage of history a few thousand times
over the last decade seems to have scrambled my brains a bit.

In happier news, new Soulcalibur! I've never been shy about declaring this my favorite fighting franchise under the sun, and I'm stoked for this release. Could Soulcalibur V finally dethrone Soul Calibur II as the series' high point? A boy can dream, even if the story conceit of following Sophitia's son Patroklos seventeen years after the events of Soulcalibur IV sounds…questionable on paper.
