Starships
In celebration of the release of Sid Meier’s Starships today, 2K and Firaxis want to make sure you’re fully briefed for the journey. To that end, the studio and publisher have put together a “101” video to bring you up to speed.
You’ll learn about how the title connects to Civilization: Beyond Earth, opportunities for tactical combat, and the different ways you can customize your ships. Blowing up the opposing forces isn’t the only way to secure victory, though. Just like in Civilization titles, you can achieve a science-based win by focusing your efforts on research.

Wonders, another carry-over from Civilization, will grant enhancements to your entire fleet. Build seven and you can score a victory.
You can also win by being prolific. Command 51 percent of the population will score you the win.
Starships is out today for PC and iOS. The title will cost you $15 on either platform.
