Shadow Mewtwo Revealed For Pokken Tournament

Shadow Mewtwo has been revealed as a new character in Pokken Tournament, the upcoming Pokemon fighting game. The announcement comes at the end of an updated version of a previously released trailer.

Unfortunately, no details beyond Shadow Mewtwo’s inclusion have been made available. Shadow Mewtwo previously appeared in the Japanese arcade version of Pokken Tournament as a boss and was called “Dark Mewtwo.”

Pokken Tournament releases on the Wii U in spring 2016.

Our Take
While it's incredibly dull to just tack on the announcement to a previously released trailer, Shadow Mewtwo promises some cool stuff for Pokken Tournament. Judging from his appearance in the Japanese arcade version, we can expect a lot of high-flying acrobatics and psychic blasts in his moves list.
