Operation Flashpoint: Red River Deploys This April

To celebrate the announcement of Operation Flashpoint: Red River's release date, Codemasters has airdropped a new gameplay trailer.

For the sequel to 2009's Dragon Rising, Codemasters is rebuilding the series from the ground up, focusing on story, four-player co-op gameplay, and customization while maintaining Flashpoint's unwavering dedication to authenticity. Fans of the tactical shooter can report for duty on April 26.

As the video below shows, the latest entry in the long-running military series drops soldiers in Tajikistan, a destitute region sandwiched between Afghanistan and China. The U.S. Marines have pushed the Afghani insurgents into this mountainous region, and as the fighting moves eastward the Chinese army injects itself into the war to keep the conflict from spilling over its borders.
