NBA Live 16
The Oklahoma City Thunder's NBA season may have been derailed by injuries, but that hasn't stymied the considerable hype buzzing around the organization. Today EA Sports announced that guard Russell Westbrook is gracing the cover of NBA Live 16.
Westbrook is a four-time all-star and reigning scoring champion of the NBA, averaging 26.7 points per game. Though an NBA championship has eluded him in his career thus far, he has picked up two gold medals playing for Team USA in the Olympics and FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Westbrook is the second Thunder player to grace the cover of a recent basketball game. Forward Kevin Durant has appeared on two covers, the defunct NBA Elite 11, which never released, and NBA 2K15.
NBA Live 16 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. More info will be revealed about the game at E3.
