The 50 Best Games Of All Time (A Primer)

I've been posting reviews of various games to my blog now for a couple of months, and I would like to put together a list of the best (my favorite) games. For me, putting together a list is a fun thought exercise for myself, but more importantly, if you are going to read a review that I write it seems valuable to me that you have some understanding of my existing tastes.

Now, how this will work is fairly simple. Instead of putting up a cold list of names and numbers, I'm going to start at number 50 and slowly work my way to the top explaining myself as I go. I've been curating this list for years, and it is always subject to change if something better happens to come along, but for now it should stand strong.

It also gives me a chance to talk briefly about games that I might not really get to review but I still adore. I will be back tomorrow then with number 50 on my list: Donkey Kong Country 2. And I will be back every few days with another entry until I get to the top.
