There has to be a reason that DC Comics characters, Scooby Doo, Marty McFly, The Doctor, and Gandalf are all working together in Lego Dimensions. Today we find out why.

The evil Lord Vortech is colliding dimensions, bringing together the worst villains from across 14 different universes. Thankfully, that also means heroes like the Ghostbusters, Batman, and Portal’s Chell can combine forces to save the day.

Lego Dimensions is due out on September 27 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. For more, check out our coverage from E3.
