Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water
The Wii U seems like the perfect fit for a series like Fatal Frame, which pushes the player to use an in-game camera to photograph paranormal activity. In Fatal Frame 5: The Black-Haired Shrine Maiden, the Wii U gamepad is used to simulate this experience. A Japanese commercial gives us a brief look at this functionality in action: The player switches to the camera view, centers her shot by holding up the pad, and snaps a photo of a ghost.
The game hits Japanese store shelves and Wii U's digital shop on September 27. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced by publisher Nintendo or developer Koei Tecmo.
