Extreme Exorcism Rounds Out Platform Lineup To Include Most Major Consoles And PC

When Tim Turi played Extreme Exorcism at GDC, he had some nice things to say about it. That's why when I saw it at PAX East I made a beeline to try it for myself (and agree with Tim's assessment).

The title riffs on the recent trend of arena fighters with throwback aesthetics. Extreme Exorcism adds a spectral wrinkle buy adding your past incarnations to the mix. Your ghosts will mimic movement from previous rounds, making it that much harder to stay alive (and find your real target).

You can get a look at how it works in a new trailer that features the single-player mode. Every time you clear out the stage, it starts fresh with more ghosts mimicking your past moves.

We knew the title was coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Today, Golden Ruby Games confirmed release on PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Extreme Exorcism will be out this year.
