Evolve’s “Big Alpha” starts this Friday, and there’s still time to register to participate on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. While you wait to step into the boots of a hunter or stretch out as one of the two included monsters, you can check out a bit of background on the title.

In a new series hosted by Adam Sessler, Turtle Rock discusses the origins of Evolve’s asymmetrical multiplayer (you can also read up in our cover story from February 2014). You’ll also hear about how the Big Alpha will work.

Players will be able to choose from any of the hunters, Goliath, and Kraken. Turtle Rock will be monitoring the data for balance and player feedback for preference information.

If you still need to register, you can use the following code on this website:

Registration Code: 05379-29749-32069
Referral Code: EvolveBigAlpha4v1

And if streaming is your thing, 2K Games says that players are permitted to share gameplay. Evolve will be out on February 10, 2015, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The alpha runs from October 31 through November 2.
