Our first glimpse of Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion didn't reveal much, but these new screenshots clearly demonstrate that the game is taking some inspiration from classic Mickey games like Castle of Illusion.
As if the visual proof wasn't enough, a press release from Disney confirms the setting, explaining that the story takes place in the Castle of Illusion and features the evil witch antagonist Mizrabel. However, the game isn't just a nostalgic throwback; it uses the functions of the 3DS to let players draw and paint objects that materialize in the world.
Just like its console relative Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, this 3DS title is slated to release in the fall.
