Destiny
For those that have both a PlayStation 4 and a Vita, the ability to play remotely on the small screen is a neat feature. It doesn’t work well with every game, though. But Bungie has taken some extra steps to entice you to give it Destiny a try on the small screen.
In a new video, you can see the game in action as well as some of the control tweaks that make it usable. Of note, there are no back-touch functions, meaning you’re free to hold your Vita however you like.
I had a chance to try this out during the beta, and found it a better fit for single and cooperative play than for competitive matches. I love the placement of the front screen functions, as they end up working like soft buttons. Putting the sprint on the D-pad (down) works really well, too.
Destiny is out on September 9 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. For more, check out our preparation guide to get yourself ready.
