Crysis
As we reported back in June, there was a likelihood that the PC classic Crysis was headed to consoles via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Now you can see how the demanding PC game performs on consoles with a new gameplay video.
The game that brought PCs to their knees and wowed critics with its impressive graphics and open-world gameplay is finally getting its due on consoles. Built on the back of CryEngine 3, the remastered port sports a number of enhancements, including a new lighting system, new effects, and additional Nanosuit controls. One thing it won't have is multiplayer; this is strictly the single-player campaign. Check out the trailer here:

I'm glad console owners will finally have a chance to play this game, but the timing is strange. I'm no sales forecaster, but it seems like a bad idea to sandwich the remastered release in October between high-profile shooters like Gears of War 3, Rage, Battlefield 3, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. At least it's affordable; this download-only title will cost you $19.99, or 1600 Microsoft points.
So what's your take from the video? Does the game look comparable on console?
