Child of Light
In Ubisoft’s Child of Light, players will take on the role of the young girl Aurora, who is kidnapped from her home and must embark on a quest to return. Her firefly companion Igniculus will also have an important role to play, as shown in this new co-op trailer.
Controlled by a second player, Igniculus can help Aurora on her quest by revealing hidden passages, disabling traps, and healing Aurora. He also helps during combat by slowing down enemies and healing allies. Together they must bring back the sun, moon, and stars being held captive by the Queen of The Night in what Ubisoft describes as a coming-of-age story that features a lush, painted world and turn based RPG combat. Child of Light will be released on April 30 for $14.99 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation Network for PS3 and PS4, Nintendo eShop for Wii U and Steam on PC.
