Black Death

The developer behind Ubisoft's on-hold survival title I Am Alive has announced its new project. Black Death is a first-person horror game that puts players in a New England choked with a mystical fog that mutates the population into strange, violent creatures.

Darkworks intends for players to experiment with creating their own chemical weapons and testing them out in combat against the unusual foes they are surrounded by, and ultimately control the fog that is the source of the scourge.

Not all of the infected people you meet are fodder for your weapons, though -- you'll have the option to cure your foes if you choose that path.

No word yet on publisher or release date. Black Death is currently slated for PS3, 360, and PC
