Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan isn’t what we would call a “feel good” anime. It’s filled with human suffering, usually at the hands and teeth of towering, naked monstrosities called Titans. Of course, that makes it perfect fodder for the interactive medium.

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are bringing a new game based on the comic and animated show to PlayStation systems next year. A new trailer shows off the 3D maneuver gear that allows the human fighters to get close to the Titans.

While Omega Force is largely known of the Dynasty Warriors series and all of its related offshoots, Attack on Titan looks like it may deviate. Instead of the hordes of foes we’re used to fighting in the developer’s games, we’ll get to swing around and hack giants to bits. 

We’re eager to learn more on the path to the game’s release next year. It’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita.
