How does it feel that Game Informer has been going on these 35 years? Is issue 400 going to be the same as usual, with the top 400 games like every 100-mark issues? How would you step GI into the next level? – 12usse11 via Instagram

I grew up loving Game Informer’s deeper features on game development and the industry as a whole, beyond just previews and reviews. Are there plans to continue that kind of coverage? – Blumg via Instagram

We’re beyond honored that our readers have stuck with us through three and a half decades, and we hope you feel grateful we’re still around as well. We love tracking down the biggest cover stories and exclusives we can find, interviewing incredible game developers to get behind-the-scenes stories and insight, and put a physical magazine in your hands every few weeks, all while delivering you the latest previews and reviews.

While we can’t predict the future, we have no plans of ever stopping our deep dives into the process of bringing a game from conceptualization to development and, eventually, to your console or PC. If you’re looking for those insights, look no further than our cover stories and multi-page game features with which we fill each and every one of these issues.

The issue you’re currently reading marks our 35th anniversary, but we do suppose that Issue 400 is our next milestone issue. Running down the 300 greatest games of all time for Issue 300 nearly broke both our editorial and design teams (as well as our page count), so we may need to get creative with how we do it, but it sounds like a fun challenge. Stay tuned!
