Celebrating The Year

With the relaunch of Game Informer earlier this year, it’s been a momentous time for our team. That new direction for us happens to coincide with one of the most surprising and rewarding years in gaming. We’re thrilled we get to celebrate with this bonus-sized special edition of the magazine.

For as long as I’ve been with Game Informer, we’ve had a big end-of-year feature to highlight the best in gaming from each annual cycle. But without fail, we’re always struggling to squeeze in all the amazing games we want to feature.

With our relaunch, we opted to solve that problem by expanding our page count for this special issue and giving ample space to the big 2025 spotlight. It still wasn’t enough. But in the coming pages, you’ll find dozens of games across all manner of genres and playstyles. It’s the most comprehensive round-up of recommendations we can offer to set you up with some amazing games to enjoy.
