Did You Know Gaming Revisits The History Of Retro's Donkey Kong Games
With the release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, it's only fitting youtube trivia channel Did You Know Gaming would dive into its history. Of course, the history of Tropical Freeze is deeply intertwined with Nintendo and Retro's initial decision to revisit the DKC games with Returns, so that game is along for the ride.
The video includes a short history of how both games came to be, quotes from some some of the head developers on the game (including a brief look at Shigeru Miyamoto's involvement with some of the series' mechanics), and some fun Easter Eggs you may not have spotted on your first playthrough.
