New Gameplay Today – Ion Maiden

Ion Maiden, 3D Realms' latest, is a game that gets back to the 2D pixelated days of bloodletting. A spiritual successor to Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior, Ion Maiden is a brutal yet goofy romp through a city in the not-so-distant future. The game launched in Early Access today with a three hour slice of gameplay available to anyone who buys it. Leo, fellow retro shooter enthusiast Jeff Cork, and myself took a look at the game and talked about its authenticity to that era of gaming.
