Next Persona Dancing Games Get New Trailers, Persona 4 Dancing All Night Getting PS4 Port
In a Christmas livestream held by Atlus, the new Persona dancing games titled Persona 5: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 3: Dancing Star Night were detailed ahead of their release next year.
The two games will lack story modes that were a core part of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which told a story of the Inaba Investigation Team meeting Rise's fellow idol Kanamin and defeating a God through dance. It was just a visual novel interface, but for people who wanted more interactions with their favorite characters, it could be a fairly fun experience.
Atlus does assure fans, however, that the games will have character interactions to help make up for the missing mode. Each character in both games is assigned a dancer for their choreography and motion capture, with Atlus insisting dancers were also chosen based on how well they match the character's personality.
Finally, a port of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, has been announced for PlayStation 4. You can find our review of the previously Vita-only game right here. The port is scheduled for May in Japan with no western release currently announced.
Below are the trailers for the Persona 3- and Persona 5-themed new games. Persona 3: Dancing Star Night and Persona 4: Dancing Moon Night are scheduled for Spring 2018 in Japan and sometime next year for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4.
