Sony Estimates PS4 Sales Of Over 70 Million Units

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it estimates the sales of the PS4 are over 70.6 million units worldwide.

The company says the sales data is current through the beginning of this month, but it did not split out different versions of the system such as the PS4 Pro.

Sony also estimates that it has sold through over two million PSVR units around the globe.

At the end of October, the company reported in its quarterly fiscal results that shipments for the PS4 were increasing compared to the previous year, and it seems that the demand is indeed there for the supply.
