Netflix Renews Stranger Things For A Season 3

Stranger Things fans who can't get enough of the period piece Netflix show will be happy to know the streaming service has given the green light on a third season.

The confirmation came today via Twitter, which also held a poll this morning asking if people wanted a third season of Stranger Things. The poll, which at the time of writing is 58% for Yes and 42% for No, seems fairly split with a lot of replies saying they think the series does not need to go on indefinitely. Obviously, those concerns are losing out and Netflix disagrees.

There's no word on the timing of season 3, but Netflix has been pretty consistent about launching shows annually. I myself just started season 2 last night, so they can take their time for my sake.
