Gotenks, Adult Gohan, And Kid Buu Announced For Dragon Ball FighterZ

by Imran Khan on Nov 16, 2017 at 05:21 PM

Japanese magazine V-Jump has revealed three new Dragon Ball FighterZ characters: Gotenks, Adult Gohan, and Kid Buu, according to a leak ahead of the magazine's release.

All three characters are from Dragon Ball Z's final arc, the battle against the various forms of Majin Buu. Gotenks, the fusion of Goten and Trunks, was trained by Piccolo to fight off Super Buu. Kid Buu is the original form of Buu and lacks any intelligence, empathy, or desire beyond killing everything. Adult Gohan is Gohan after his potential has been unlocked by the Elder Kai and he is sent to fight off Super Buu.

Gotenks has his Super Ghost Kamikaze attack, of course, and Kid Buu can destroy the Earth with his special move.

The images of the characters will officially come out with V-Jump next week. Dragon Ball Fighter Z is releasing on January 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Our Take
DBZ went on for a long time so it's not surprising to see different ages and forms of the same characters, but Gohan vs. Buu was one of my favorite fights so I am definitely down.
