Star Ghost Lands On The Switch This Month From Ex-Rare Dev

Launching into space and taking on aliens is a tried-and-true element for video games, and sometimes we need a little jolt of that old school flavor. Star Ghost, a 2D starfighter game from ex-Retro and Rare developer Rhys Lewis, brings that old school, space chase charm to the Switch eShop on November 30.

Originally released on the Wii U last year, Star Ghost tasks players with shooting their way through 12 dynamically-generated star systems all to the tune of veteran Donkey Kong Country composer David Wise's propulsive, synth-laden soundtrack. Weapon upgrades and score multipliers are obviously par for the course. Check out some of what the Switch port has to offer in the trailer below.
