Battle Chasers Nightwar Releases Animated Intro And Announces Switch Delay

THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate have announced a delay for the Nintendo Switch version of their RPG, Battle Chasers Nightwar.

The game was Kickstarted in 2015 as a jumping-on point for the comic series Battle Chasers by Joe Madureira. It was picked up by THQ Nordic and was, at one point, announced by Nintendo as a timed Switch exclusive, but then quickly corrected by Airship Syndicate as coming to Switch eventually.

The animated intro, which was released today, confirms that the Switch version is coming after the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, which are still on track for the October 3 release. The intro was made by Powerhouse Animation, the studio behind the Netflix Castlevania series.
