E3 is over, which means a lot of people will probably be feeling a bit deflated about the lack of exciting announcements this weekend. But now, with the magic of competitive gaming, you can replace that excitement with hype. That's how it works, right?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is having two major tournaments this weekend: The Dreamhack Summer Open (Stream and Schedule) and the PGL Europe Minor Championship (Stream).

We also have a pair of big Dota 2 tournaments: The Dota Summit 7 (Stream / Schedule) in Los Angeles, and Galaxy Battles in China (Streams and Schedule).

Also at Dreamhack, you can catch events for the following games:

Full Schedule

In other fighting game events, the yearly Community Effort Orlando tournament is the one of the last major events before Evo this year and hosts tournaments for all of the fighting games above as well as Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Injustice 2, and more. (Streams and Schedule)

The Overwatch Contenders series is a new series of tournaments organized by Blizzard, MLG, and Carbon Entertainment that will pit several top teams from North America and Europe against each other for the next few weeks. (Stream / Schedule)

League Of Legends' various Summer Splits and Challenger Series should give you more than enough League to watch for most of the season. (Stream and Schedule)

That's it for this weekend! Let us know if we missed anything, or if there's a scene you'd like us to cover, in the comments below.
