Geoff Keighley Possibly Reveals The Price Of Project Scorpio

Industry Icon and presenter of The Game Award Show Geoff Keighley recently tweeted out that he could say "with confidence" that the price of Microsoft's newest iteration of gaming hardware will be $499.

Here's the tweet:

I can now say with confidence Project Scorpio is $499. Unless something changes today, that is what will be announced.

The Microsoft press conference begins today at  2 p.m. PT. It is expected that publisher will reveal the price and release date for Project Scorpio.

Our Take
We'll probably find out later today if Keighley's right. If so, that's a pretty penny for what many people assume is an Xbox upgrade.
