Disney Announces Release Dates For Star Wars Episode IX, Indiana Jones, Wreck-it Ralph 2, And More

Disney recently confirmed a number of release dates for highly-anticipated movies. Perhaps the biggest of the movies that received a locked release date is Star Wars: Episode IX. It will hit theaters May 24, 2019.

Disney also confirmed a currently untitled Indiana Jones movie will release July 10, 2020 and Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2 will release November 21, 2018.

Frozen 2 also has a release date, November 27, 2019, as well as the live-action Lion King directed by Jon Favreau starring Donald Glover and James Earl Jones. Favreau's Lion King releases July 19, 2019.

Other bonus dates include Gigantic, a new animated film based on the Jack and the Beanstalk fable, releasing November 25, 2020, A Wrinkle in Time based on the popular novel, for March 9, 2018, and finally a movie called Magic Camp starting Gillian Jacobs (Community) and Adam Devine (Workahaolics) with an April 6, 2018 release date.
