by Manon Hume on Apr 11, 2017 at 12:40 PM

Call of Duty: Black Ops II brought many new elements to the long-running FPS series, including the father-son protagonists of Alex and David Mason, branching story paths based on players' decisions, and Call of Duty's first step into futuristic warfare. Larry Hryb announced via Twitter that the game is now available as part of the growing list of backward compatible titles for Xbox One, giving players another chance to take down the threat of a second Cold War.

As part of this year's spring sale, players can purchase Call of Duty: Black Ops II for 50-percent off between April 11-17 from the Xbox Marketplace.
