Jak And Daxter PS2 Games Coming To PS4

by Manon Hume on Apr 03, 2017 at 03:30 PM

The first three games starring Naughty Dog's wacky duo crossed platforms in the Jak and Daxter Collection for PS3 and Vita, but the two are now making their way to the latest console generation as well. Expected sometime this year, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing, which was previously available only on PS2, will be available as digital downloads on the PlayStation 4.

All of the games will feature visual upscaling to 1080p and trophy support, as well as share play and activity feeds. Additionally, Jak X: Combat Racing will have local splitscreen in addition to its original Adventure and Exhibition game modes, though no online play will be available.

Check out our Replays of Jak II and Jak 3, and Kyle Hilliard's Wish List entry for a new Jak and Daxter title.

Our Take
I'm always excited to see classic games come to the latest generation of console. For those who are still satisfied with the Jak and Daxter Collection for PS3 and Vita, Jak X: Combat Racing getting a remaster might be worth considering.
