Xbox Games With Gold In March Includes Evolve, Borderlands 2

With the month of March fast approaching, Xbox Games With Gold has announced the new titles which will be joining the lineup of free games on offer with the premium service.

This month, players will get to hop online in the beast-hunting asymmetrical multiplayer shooter, Evolve, and take on Layers of Fear, an atmospheric first-person horror title about an insane painter struggling to complete his masterpiece. According to GI's review, it's sadly not as awesome as that sounds.

Xbox 360 owners will be able to search for loot and take down Badasses in Borderlands 2, also playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Meanwhile, Heavy Weapon is a decade-old (but still wholly enjoyable) arcade-style multiplayer shoot-em-up which offers four-player co-op for hours of fun and bonding with buddies.

Gamers still have a limited time to grab February's Games With Gold offerings, which include Project Cars and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
