The Nintendo Switch Will Not Be Region Locked
During the Nintendo Switch presentation this evening, Nintendo revealed that the upcoming console will not be region locked.
The Nintendo 3DS and Wii U were both region locked, so this is a welcome step forward, which means Switch games bought from any country will still work with the system. During the conference we also found out the launch price for the console, which is $299.
The Nintendo Switch will release worldwide on March 3.
