Sony Closes RIGS: Mechanized Combat League Dev Guerrilla Cambridge

Sony has closed RIGS: Mechanized Combat League (PSVR) developer Guerrilla Cambridge, and is currently trying to relocated its employees if possible.
In a statement to gamesindustry.biz, Sony says that the move is a result of "some changes to the European studios structure." Nevertheless, no other studios are being affected at this time.
The studio has a long history of game development, and before it was a subsidiary of Killzone developer Guerrilla Games in 2013 (working on Vita's Killzone: Mercenary), it was known as SCEE Cambridge Studio. The developer created the MediEvil series first on PlayStation, as well as PS2 title Primal.

Our Take
Closing first-party studios that make games for your new VR peripheral is not a great way to support said peripheral. Best of luck to all of those affected by the closure.
