Hideo Kojima Receives Industry Icon Award
At tonight's Game Show Awards, Hideo Kojima received the Industry Icon award from presenter Geoff Keighley for his work in the industry. Kojima has been working in games since 1986 and helmed projects like Snatcher and Policenauts before eventually leading the development of the mega popular Metal Gear Solid series.
Kojima took to the stage to thank Keighley and the audience for the award before showing off a new clip from the new project his company, Kojima Productions, is working on: Death Stranding.
Be sure to check out our special edition podcast where the voice actors from the original Metal Gear Solid recall working on the classic game.
