Microsoft Announces Partnerships For Windows 10 VR Headsets
At the Microsoft October event, the company announced partnerships with third-parties like Dell and HP for VR headsets usable with the Windows 10 Creators update.
The headsets will start at $299 and feature no external sensors (like the HTC Vive, Oculus, and PS VR use), which Microsoft is calling inside-out tracking.
No other details about the headsets such as release timeframe or gaming applications were given at the event.
The Windows 10 Creators update comes for free in the spring.
