Here's What An NES Version of Overwatch Would Look Like

Overwatch's team-based, multiplayer action is fine and all, but what if it looked like was a sidescroller from the late '80s?

The new Youtube channel Rkade Soup decided to find out. They've turned the game's iconic characters and locations retro, reimagining the game as a co-op beat-'em-up.

As the video's description notes, it's not quite a true NES recreation. There are more colors and pixels display here than the NES can handle, and it sounds different as well. Still, it's an evocative facsimile – one I'd actually play, if it were real. You can watch the video of this retro rework in action below.
