Live-Action Detective Pikachu Movie In The Works

Yes, you read that headline correctly. According to Variety, Legendary has won the rights to make a Pokemon movie and it's centered around Detective Pikachu.

You remember Great Detective Pikachu right? Cute. Cuddly. Adorable. Very serious about work ethic. And then someone made a video with everyone's favorite electric rodent voiced by Danny DeVito. Good times.

The film has been "fast-tracked for production to start in 2017."
