Mario Party Star Rush For 3DS Features Simultaneous Multiplayer Board Game Play
The next Mario Party is coming to 3DS and for the first time, it allows players to attack the board simultaneously.
The previous Mario Party for Wii U had players traveling the board together, but this time, thanks to each player having their own dedicated 3DS screen, players will be able to all move around the board separately and at the same time.

The gameplay showed during Nitnendo's Treehouse Live stream had everyone playing as Toads and finding characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and more to use as ally characters with different abilities. The game also revolves around each player making their way to a mini-game-style boss fight. The player who gets to the boss fight first gets a head start against the boss. Nintendo showed a giant Goomba boss, a King Bob-omb boss, and King Boo and hinted at a King Koopa boss.
Mario Party Star Rush releases November 4.
