Minecraft Goes Cross-Platform
Cross-play on Minecraft will be supported on iOS, Android, Xbox One, and Windows 10, and dedicated servers will be available for players. Even John Carmack showed up during Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference to highlight Minecraft in VR.
Add-ons are also coming to Minecraft this fall, letting players change things like monster A.I., skins, and other various aspects of the game.
