New Releases This Week: May 15 Through May 21

After last week’s blitz of Uncharted 4 and Doom, you might think that you have time for a breather. Depending on your tastes, that might not be true at all.

Headlining the week is Deep Silver’s Homefront: The Revolution. The game has been through a number of trials on its road to release. Crytek acquired the property from THQ’s bankruptcy, but due to financial issues eventually handed it off to Deep Silver, which was already in line to publish the title. We’ll find out this week if it’s all been worth it.

Also hitting is Shadow of the Beast, remaking the 1989 Amiga classic. You can also grab Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PlayStation 4, which reviews editor Joe Juba would likely consider a very smart decision (you can read why here).
