Reader Discussion: Dark Souls III Or Ratchet & Clank?

Today saw the release of Dark Souls III, as well the remake of the original Ratchet & Clank on PlayStation 4. The two games have radically different tones, combat, and weapons. About the only thing they share is a release date, but that doesn't mean its fans don't overlap.

Maybe you picked up both games today, but even if that is the case, for the purpose of the reader discussion you must pick one. So which is it? Dark Souls III? Or Ratchet & Clank? I'm going Dark Souls III, but I look forward to having Ratchet & Clank nearby as a palate cleanser whenever From Software's oppressive dark world becomes too much to handle.
