A Game Based On Biker Mice From Mars Released On Mobile Platforms Today
There is more than one classic, beloved, science-fiction franchise about talented space pilots making a return this week, apparently.
Rick Ungar, who created the original animated show, "Is confident that the game will be well received by the large fan base of the cult classic series," according to a press release for the game. Structured like a endless runner, the game takes place in Chicago and is broken into episodes that parody current events. One episode follows a billionaire character running for President and another pokes fun at a recent movie franchise.
You can see the trailer below and find the iOS version of the game here and the Android version here.
Our Take
I'm mostly writing about this because a new game based on a 22 year old show is so random. It seemed to come out of left field and land in my e-mail inbox. I've never seen the show, but I remember it mostly for not being Ninja Turtles. Does this show have a fanbase? If it does, there's a modern game for it. No longer will you be forced to repeatedly play the Super Nintendo game from 1994.
