SNES Firefighting Game The Ignition Factor Now Available On Wii U Virtual Console

The Ignition Factor, a 1995 Super Nintendo game about saving civilians and fighting fires from Jaleco, is now available on Wii U Virtual Console.

It's not a classic as it is not widely known, but it is an interesting game. We played it on our The Peace Keepers episode of Replay. The Ignition Factor segment begins around the 34:45 mark.

Our Take
It wasn't until I started looking at the screenshots for this game that I realized we played it on Replay. I liked what we saw, and in retrospect realize it actually has a Metal Gear Solid V vibe – pick your tools, rescue people from a location, and get support from a leader calling in and giving you instructions.
