Heroes Of The Storm's $100,000 2015 Americas Championship Happens In Las Vegas Next Month
We just finished watching Dota 2's $18 million The International tournament, but now it's time to prepare for Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm's Americas tournament and its $100,00 prize pool.
Next month's tournament in Las Vegas is the American branch of the tournament. Winners there will earn a spot in the World Championship taking place at Blizzcon 2015 competing against Korean, European, Chinese, and Taiwanese players. The Americas tournament happens September 19-20 and will follow eight teams as they compete for a single slot. You can find more details about how to attend and how to watch from a distance on Blizzard's website here.

Our Take
It may not rival Dota 2's $18 million prize pool, but $100,000 is absolutely nothing to sneeze at. It's going to be an exciting competition.
